"Economic Science" was founded in 1979. It is a bimonthly economic theory journal under the supervision of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and sponsored by Peking University. "Economic Science" mainly has columns such as Reform, Economics and Economic Theory, Western Development, Securities and Investment, Financial Research, Enterprise Economics, Business Research, and Fiscal and Taxation Research.

Founded in 1988 by the Seoul University Institute of Economics, the Seoul Journal of Economics (SJE) publishes theoretical and empirical research articles covering all areas of economics, especially focusing on the research results of various aspects of the economies of Asian countries. Since 2000, the journal has been jointly sponsored by the Seoul University Institute of Economics, the Korea Monetary and Financial Association, the Korean Society of Labor Economics, and the Korean Society of Development Economics.
